Anynews on the new bios!
Does anybody have freeze up proplems when Cpu-Z, AOD or Everest is loading? My system would freeze randomly and only way I can get out of it is to push reset button. I can run OCCT or Prime95 for several hours with no problem.
Great just the wait then! Just looking for a bios that gives me better mem speed than 1680Mhz which is the current max i can get at the minute!

How did you do it? Just set ACC to auto or anything but disabled?
Cant wait to get home...sweet!
PS This is a safe bios right? I dont remember what I read about a bios giving wrong voltage or something.

Seems we made our greatest error when we named it at the start

I managed to unlock the fourth core as well with the F3L but, it only recognized the fourth core on the first boot. When I booted again, the system went crazy and gave me a lot of problems. I tried almost evey ACC option but It wouldnt go back to 4 cores again, for that reason I had to flash back to F3B.
Bro2000, I hope yours is stable and PS let us know how you did it.

Bummer...I am aborting my test.
Yeah, if you flash and dont clear cmos and do all the safety stuff the 4th core will show but it will be gone after a cold start...it happened to me with previous bios updates.

I know it is AMDs request to not create a bios that fixes ACC but I hope they would reilize that these chips are capable to run 4 cores stable and the owners of these chips are going to try to run them with 4th core abled as long as it takes. One way or another, one motherboard brand would create a bios and this would increase their business and then the others would have to create a bios that fixes it. They have to reilize that by creating a bios that fixes these issue is going to create more demand for their product.
I was going to get a 955be also, but from what I have seen, It is not really going to be performance gain for me. It looks like they are stable around 3.8ghz on air and that is only .2 ghz from my current clock. +100$ and .2-.4ghz performance gain is not even going to give me +3-5fps on my games. Unless it benches very well, I dont think I will be interested in it for now. Or I will just wait untill the prices are around 200$
