And to what purpose do all the fancy twisty shiny ball fittings serve? El cheapo plastic barbs (if installed properly and not leaking) attain the same exact cooling results.

So now I am trying to install on RAID on the DFI P35 (ICH9R) and it' working perfectly. Maybe it's the SkullTrail...it's always been a PIMA.

Have not run the Vertex so do not know.

You could also try using another CD ROM drive

well the rack when setup with symetry like RAID taught us owns all. I had pictures to miyuki but its gone.

I wanted to share my pain with you guys.

These are the PSU's i went though on Haruhi. Only the Antec and Ultra work.

Antec is a 850W, PCnC is a 1KW, and Ultra is the 1600W.



3.4KW in Quality PSU's sitting right there.

The ultra works, im on it right now. Now i need to clean cables, and then add a bypass valve for my chiller later on.

Dang ... wonder if it's your board. I have the 1000W Ultra ... loved it (so shiny ) then it took a dive ... now the 12V shows about 9V and I suck at RMAs.

it works... and its works great.

i recomend it so far.... but let me wait til the weather drops a little and then i'll put my entire system under load.

We have 3 AC's on in the house not including central air.

Its currently 97F outside, and i dont want to overload my breaker with a fully loaded rig on addition to everything else.

LOL i uber suck at rma's also... I still have corsair ram i need to RMA.

I also decided to end my OC @ 4.4ghz.. i'll be working on getting the last 50mhz probably today later when it gets cooler.

I used one of those Antec 850W in my Yamaha mod a couple of years back and i got to say that was one of the noisiest POS PSU's i've ever used NaeKuh and it got ditched at the first opportunity.

I got dragged in by the yellow stripes as it fit in with the mod which was a big mistake.....horrible horrible thing it was
