I want to add that during the competition I was in deep cold.

I want to thanks the site (hwbox.gr) for the opportunity to join this competition of Gooc2009 and all the Friends from our Greek Forum that gave us courage and hope to continue fighting to the last minute.

I was very happy to meet again our best Romanian Friends and really miss a lot the Turkish Friends (hey and tosuner-mc ……)
Big fun also to the Serbian teem that finally meat them – thanks guys.
A… i all most forget the Russian’s players that we have deep respect of them.

And final we give the congratulations to the WINNER THE BELGIUM TEEM……

Hello guys......
I whould like to thank everyone for the event and I was VERY pleased talking and meeting all of you....
It was an honour meeting you guys....

As for the event.
It was well organised and I believe that it run smoothly....

We have started by loosing our plane on Thursday afternoon....
Then we have to take the Fridays' 4:25am plane to Prague, so we got NO sleep at all....
We were in the hotel one hour before the competition starts...

In case that someone is interesteed about our clocks, we benched Super-Pi 8M at 4910 - 4930MHz (I have tested with 1/2/3/4/all cores but the same) and 3D at 4698MHz with our VGAs at 1007/22xx/1214MHz (to be safe)....
We had another 3 runs which failed at 4814MHz maxed out...
That CPU was totaly crap.....

Finaly I whould like to add:

IF GIGABYTE want to make it "EQUAL" for the rest of the competitions that are going to take place, they should try and find out which are the LOWEST frequncies their CPUs can bench Super-Pi and 3D and say that you will ALL bench Super-Pi at 4900MHz and 3D at 4700MHz (for examlpe) so to be fair and equal for ALL.......
By THIS way, GIGABYTE will find the "best" O/Cer of the 2009.....
By the way they do it right now, they are trying to find the "LUCKIEST" O/Cer of the 2009...

At least GIGABYTE do so at your finals please......

EDIT: These were the clocks I could play with my VGA Maximizers on the GTX260s with some "quick testings".....

good job hicookie and everybody at gigabyte, everything seems to have been organized quite well, except for the cpu sorting.
i think the way hicookie did it in taipei last year was best, but it takes too much time to test that many chips that clock about the same i guess...
so yeah, maybe add some atificial limitation to even the playing field... limit the vcore or cpu clocks...
actually i had the impression barely any i7 965 clocks above average and the field is very even and they all clock about the same... i guess the cpus used there were very mixed, finding that many 965 chips is not easy i suppose...

Sorting i7 will be very hard because they dont have only Frequencies issues. IMC will be also an other problem. Fixed frequency for all will be the fairest way for this kind of contest.
