Pt1t probably knows the good and the bad cpu's from the France qualifiers.
Has nothing to do with knowledge. Since the probability of having the bad cpu is less than not having the bad cpu, it's less likely to have the bad cpu twice than having it the first time, but not the second.

    I think so.

The biggest question is who will be picking them random.

Woah, only 1 team per continent, that's TIGHT....
    But, it's OK I guess....

Rather than being excited for the competition, I feel more excited to meet all of the overclockers at Pan Asia Regional Finals, hopefully we can have fun together , guys !

Btw, this is the list of people competing in Pan Asia Comp so far :

    Iran : Shahryar_NEO - Behzad Farrokhi
    Australia : Deanzo - Dinos22
    South-Africa : Vivi - Gouhan
    Japan : ???
    Korea : ???
    Vietnam : thienloi - chanphong
    Indonesia : Lucky_n00b - Benny Lodewijk
    Singapore & Malaysia : NightRaven - Coolice
    Thailand : ??? ( I guess their local finals is on 4th April, right ? )
    Taiwan : ???

Any news from Korea, Japan, or other teams competing in Pan Asia ?

    Oh yeah, before I forgot,

Are we in Pan Asia Region will be using GTX260 55nm or 65nm one?
I got pretty mixed-up information...Can someone from GB confirm this? Any help will be much appreciated

I was told they don't have a 55nm card yet, so all their GTX260's are 65nm.

I picked one up the other day for testing, and it's 65nm.

Yes, Thailand final is on the 4th, so we will not know who is in the pan-asia final till late that night.

Pan-Asia final is on the 5th April.

    Yes

In eindhoven we will bench with Core i7 940 and x58 ud4p + gtx260. No vmods allowed and external software etc. I think the same rules like in the other qualifiers.

I have been invited to go to the event as press, but Gigabyte doesn't seem to make a good job with their organisation, so I won't be there. I dont want to do last minute traveling ^^

Good luck and have fun guys in this pre pre final
