Dude, u dont know how much of a PITA it was debuging not having extra i7 parts.

I think i definitely need another system incase one goes down to debug. :\

But then again, last year i totaled 6 yorkfields which i could always swap parts on, this year, i got rid of almost all my yorkfields, and the only 2 system i have running at arms reach, arent cross compatiable.

I work for them and positively hate them and all that has to do with their culture I never liked Japanese cars to begin with... soon I won't be buying Japanese-named electronics as well lol

Actually the space shuttle's computers are ancient and very slow. There's a reason they haul laptops up nowdays.

Oh yes, its running well. 1.25 volts at 3.75 Ghz, 1.3 volts at 3.8 Ghz, 1.32 volts at 3.9 Ghz, 1.35 volts at 4.0 Ghz, 1.4 volts at 4.2 Ghz (not stress tested.. ). All with HT and Turbo on.

Video cooling to come, and I was going to use only EVGA Hydro water blocks!!!

Actually, have you seen the 285 block? Its gorgeous and its definitely solid copper. The way it ought to be.

yeah, you kinda lucked out there with the blocks. looks pretty grim in that other thread with alu/cu block. i am glad they made a full cu block.

It was three 285s and two 260s, and now its four 285s and the remaining 260 will not be upgraded. Right now, I don't plan on more video cards beyond four, and may even downgrade to three.

No, I haven't ordered the EVGA blocks yet, but will do so right away. I have been waiting for two weeks now.

I thought long and hard about the EK blocks, but I don't the EVGAs appeal to me more. Peer pressure here from unnamed friends also sways me away from EK. The standoff matter is resolved, but it was a huge point of contention. I also have not been enamoured by nickel plating and you won't find me all hyped up by nickel plating. Appearances are not at the top of my list of priorities.

Anyway, MitchellY (an XS member) is scheduled for Vesicoureteral Reflux Reimplantation surgery at 3 pm EST today. Its a major major surgery with a considerable recovery period.

Regarding my machine, I have plumbed itthis weekend and it looks great. However,last night I started filling the loop and there's a pretty bad leak. So, I unpluged, drained and abort mission till later. Thankfully it wasjust distilled water so there's no sticky mess. The one week of sitting idle will ensure that everything is completely dry.

Thank you everyone. We are home now, and the whole family is recovering, except my little one caught a nasty stomach virus (the little guy is throwing up and has very bad diahrrea) at the hospital. Want to remain healthy? The hospital is the worst place to be.

Anyway, I'm working on my machine and there are updated pics. The loop hasn't been filled yet because of a small irritating setback with a leaking block that needed to be fixed with silicon adhesive.
