My first results Core i7 920 and i7 940 in XS

I come here in the midst of so many people that means much of the subject, post the results I got in the Core I7 920 and Core I7 940 with Biostar X58.
I know that people here are used with amazing results, but I get there.

    Hugs for all

Probably he posted here because there is a new rule requiring at least 100 posts to be able to open a new thread in the Xtreme Overclocking area.

Nice OC. What cooling? How much volts for the Reapers? 7-7-7 is pretty sweet for 863mhz. 1.648 Vcore? Jesus you got some balls.

    Takes courage...and lots of luck...
    I surely wouldn't risk it.

Doesn't Intel say 1.375 vcore is the limit?

1.375v is the limit for vid, max safe operating volts are 1.5v according to intel, and its not like the chip will melt if you go over... 1.65v, depending on what cooling, is not a big deal. its not just the temps that prevent high voltages on air anyways, its the current leakage. as volts go up, max operating temps go down, so ironically you need to increase volts to get stability at high temps, but temps only go further up...
