    I was also in the understanding that this board just had to do high FSB/CPU Clock with a quad and 4Gigs of ram.

    Just tested with a pair of 2x2048MB OCZ XTC Platinum that I could borrow from a friend... and as we speak i'm running 8.5x500 1:1. So that's definately an improvement.

    So from my experience it does matter whether one uses 4x1024MB or 2x2048 with this board.

    I'll be getting myself a new pair of 2x2048 then. Glad to see it runs fine
