ePOWER EP-2000P10-T3 REVIEW at www.newegg.com
Pros: Powering my computer along with my air conditioner and my refrigerator, and I used it to jump start my truck once.
Cons: The only problem was the FBI at my door saying something about knocking out power for the east coast...not sure what thats about.
I know that this thread is kinda dying since the 1200 and the 2nd version of this case came out. But I still wanted to post a few pictures of my painted 900, this thread is what made me buy one! I remember I build a PC for a friend using this case and I HATED it because of the crappy cable management, then I found this thread and fell in love with the thing after seeing what a few holes could do! I started this project almost a year ago (Feb 08) back when I was planning on building a new PC. At the time I figured I would start with a new case, PSU and MB, paint the case and mod it around the PSU and MB. Well I never did end up getting the rest of the parts, but here I am planning a new build again so I wanted to finish up this case and make use of it.
In these pictures it is just mocked up, the top is not actually clipped on for example, so they are not the best but give you an idea. I was thinking of putting another coat of paint to hide some of the thicker spots on it but I decided against it since it is all sanded, besides most of it will be covered with parts anyhow, I just wanted the overall black case look. I also still have to cut a bunch of wire management holes in it, but since they are MB specific I have been waiting until I decide on a new MB to do that. Anyhow let me know what you think so far, the paint job is not the best (how much can you expect for rattle cans?) but I really dig the colors and overall look, the blue is a lot darker in person. I am just torn between putting my current machine in this case (built in 05) or my new i7 build that I am planning, I might using a CM HAF for that though, I really like the design of that case but I still think the 900 looks better.

hey guys! this thread really inspired me to get the 900 cabinet, and really im loving this thing, i havent done any kids of mods as of yet, but i was really inspired by mbrocketry's mod (page 27) i want to mod my psu in that way, reduces the clutter of the cables considerably, and i saw the other mods as well, trust me, ive never seen so much of modding on any other cabbywell here are some of my cabinet's pics, suggestions/critics/complaints are welcome xD

well, I finally picked up another 300 and built my gamer into it so I could start the mods on the 900. To this point, I have the rivets pulled and the case apart (top, mobo tray/back, drive rack/floor), the windowed side has been gutted in anticipation of a new side window (still debating particulars), drive cages are torn apart right now with the stock 120mm fans pulled front and rear. I am debating a custom front panel to eliminate the drive cages, but that's still up in the air. First and foremost, is getting the holes cut for the cable management. My case is an original v1 with no holes in the mobo tray, or for water cooling... so I'm starting with a blank slate there. I have a few really custom ideas in mind that I haven't seen done before on a 900, but I'll make more of those as they start to come together. I'm to the point now, that I feel I can have the case completely done in 6 weeks.
Thanks to everyone in this thread for the ideas and motivation to get started!

here is my rig after I flipped the power supply. I still need to pull the 24 pin cable behind the motherboard tray better. I am waiting on some parts and ties.

I'm thinking about moding my 900 v1 case, i have the 120ex HS facing sideways so air in going to the side exhaust fan, I can't remember but i don't think my striker extreme let me turn it the other way around. So I'd like to know a few things.
Has anyone installed a 120mm fan on the side panel with the 120ex facing this way?
Anyone with a striker extreme know if it can be faced the other way? so then i can mod and fit the 120m fan in
Do you guys think it would be a good idea to install two 120mm or two 92mm fan on the glass bit of the 900 like one at the top and one at the bottom? I measured it today and it seems it with the 120s it will fit but i will need something to raise the fans a little because a little bit of the fans will be over the metal or i can just install 2 92s.
Think this will look nice? and produce some good results?
Thanks![]()
CD... on the green A900, what feet are those? I really like the black machined feet from MNPCTech, but I can't afford the price. TIA.

You can find those feet at Home Depot. I have seen them in gray and white, but not in black. You would have to paint them.
