Vista Login No Mouse & Keybaord

I was wondering if anyone can help me, I just got the most strangest problem.

My system rig is in my signature, basically this morning I put on my PC as every day normally, loaded up to my Vista x64 login screen all sudden no keybaord and mouse. I restart still want work, so I cant even login with my password. I change USB ports do the usual try a different mouse etc nothing same problem. I check bios reset it to defaults and check mouse and keyabord being detected says it is.

So now im like OKDEN wtf is going on, what am I suppose to do now, could this be some kind of windows bug waiting to be activated on a specific date this being today?

No, it's not a long term solution - but it will narrow down the issue to let us know whether it's Vista somehow not responding to any input or a more localised issue with the USB ports/drivers.

never heard of this and i have been working on computers for 10 years now. if you boot to cd with hirens or ultimate boot cd, does the kb or mouse work? if so you have a jacked up OS and should reformat.

I've gotten this after a corrupted OS from blue screens due to overclocking issues. Never happens after a clean install, but I'll even get delayed usb recognition if I beat on my OS too much.
