Could we get a Max FSB comparo on the three AM3 boards? Preferably with an 810 or a 910 Ph II.

Perkam the gigabyte is out of that contention for now, especially in crossfire. Bios needs work still.

Did you purchase that MSI GD70 board retail or do you have a special hookup? I can't wait to get my hands on that board so please post where you purchased it if this is the case.

SuperBiiz is always nice to do business with, thanks for the linkage
A little bit expensive for "yet another" 790FX board but still extremely tempting...can't wait to see your results with it!

I am debating the MSI 790FX-GD70 or the ASUS M4A79T Deluxe ... I Love love ASUS and price is not an issue. But i would like to see a head to head of these 2 boards

From what im seeing spec wise the MSI board looks to be able to run higher DDR3 freqs.. But they are the same chipsets so im not sure i couldnt get the same OC's on the asus board. Problem is you really lose out on timings when you get that high.. 2000+ id rather run at 1600 with 6 6 6 18 or even 7 6 6 18

the msi "should do good with memory" only one way to find out,but if it does do 1000mhz ram then all u need is some elpidia chip and your straight, also asus is looking strong to me right now just set and forget in the bios.
