When I went vista I went 64 bit. 32 bit is old
But the only real benefit of 64 bit is you use the whole of your CPU and can use 4+GB RAM mainly

the whole of the cpu? you mean lower cpu usage?
I mean, the CPUs these days are 64 bit capable but on a 32 bit OS you are only using "half" the CPU in that waynot sure how much of a difference it makes for most things though. You generally won't notice the difference probably.

okay you have me convinced I'll roll with vista64but now when I install it gives an error saying its not win32 compatible.
install what?

Jeeze could I run into a little bit more trouble. Okay so I am running Vista64 with nvidia 182.06 drivers because none of the other drivers work. For some reason when I run the SMP client its drops the score on 9800GX2 -3 dramatically. Heres a screen any suggestions? BTW its a 353WU so it should be roughly 6k like 9800GX2 -2.
What is the CPU usage of each of the fahcore_11?

Set the GPU clients to one notch above idle for the CPU core priority and have SMP on idle. That'll give the GPUs a little bit of preference and may help.

To make sure the smp doesn't step on the GPUs you can use Prifinitty to set the priority of core 11 to "above" or "real time." The smp should already be set to idle.

Tried setting to a higher priority but no luck...I think I will just run only two video cards and go back to xp32 atleast that stable with running smp.
You are sure it isn't just the WU? Some of the 511 pointers will drag them as low as 3800 ppd.![]()

Positive itll be at roughly 6k a day when its overclocked, I'll let it run for a bit then start SMP and after like 2% more its drops to like 2.5k. Oh well it gives me the excuse of instead of trying to run 3 cards in one rig, run 2 cards in this one and go build another![]()

Woot! 11,000,000 on the last update. I just wish I could afford to keep the hammer down.I just got word PG&E is installing "Smart Meters." If you use too much power in peak periods, (And they determine what is "too much.") they make you grab your ankles and pull a train with out any grease!!!

Another hardware casualty!
Horrible grinding roar started coming from my closet. Another cooling fan just kicked the bucket, and of course it is the one in the bottom of the stack!

Well I started folding for the team with my 4830, and I have a question. I tried searching it first, but I have an extra 8600GT. Is there a way to have both folding. I am confused and the MultiGPU guides i read didn't mention anything about different cards, so if you guys could help me out that would be great. Thanks!
