In your original pictures the tubing on your pump was not pushed far enough on.

Oh believe me, those aren't going anywhere. I'm using 3/8" tubing on 1/2" barbs. I had to stick it in boiling water to melt it so i could get it on and to get it off I practically needed to cut it. I'll try to get it on farther next time but I only have a few second window to get it on before the tubing cools so much that I can't even fit it over. I'll work on it more soon I just can't right now. I'm juggling school in the mornings and then working our school musical all night so I have no time till we close Saturday. i'm glad you guys like it so far though =)yeah your only about half way onto those D5 barbs
