    Don't. Find a Laptop with a T9300 and above processor. 4gb RAM. 250+gb hdd. and a whatever size screen you prefer (15" is plenty of real estate). as for graphics card... 9650 is ok, but 9700/9800 is even better, or 3650 for amd.

    look into asus laptops (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...1315&name=ASUS) and even the Dell Outlet (dell.com/outlet).

    I've got a Dell XPS 15" and I really like it. It's running 4GB of RAM, T9500, 8600M GT, and 500GB HDD. It has all the power I need and still is very portable for such a power-packed package. The ASUS listed above looks nice, but never having owned an ASUS laptop I can't comment on the build or quality

    Rock have been both god and bad to me;
    the good: delivery, no dead pixel check (free when i got mine), support forums, 3 year warr (parts, labour + collect/return), good rma tracking, good support staff, replaced plastics, mobo, cpu, wifi (4x), ram, hdd, fixed hinges without any complaints

    the bad: system went back 4 times each time complaining of screen flicker, each time it came back still flickering. 4 times it went in with wifi troubles, 4 times the card failed again within a month. system went in with no post, they replaced the mobo, cpu and ram - but dispite assurances otherwise never returned my stick of crucial pc3200 so i could rma it, eventually denying it ever went to them. last time t came back it was plastered with stickers to prevent access to change ram/hdd/etc without voiding warr - with no prior warning.
