The gigabyte is a solid board and athough it has it's quirks and some limitations it's still capable of putting out TOP #rs....and already has.

I however am chasing 3dmark multi card records atm so I need to pull out all the stops, 16x/16x PCI lanes included.

I'm waiting for the UD5P to mature a little bit.

Renting 2 30L dewars, Apparently I need to get a ladel, msimax is supplying the thermos for pouring.

My pot isn't done yet so we are using Dumo's and msi max's, Mine has an ETA of 3 weeks. Might invest in a dewar then.

Will be running DI on my home made pot.

Too bad you're in R.I. I've got a 20L sitting upstairs collecting dust.

Gonna save up for a backup board and another 720B.E. and make sparks fly hopefully very soon.

Hehe the vacuum is excellent. It was an ebay can with bad vac so I tapped and TIGged in a pipe fitting, then added a 1/4" swagelok w/copper tube, helium leak tested it, and fixed the leak that originally caused it to go bad. Then I heat wrapped it and pumped it out for a few weeks, pinched off the pump-out tube with a refrigeration pinch-off tool, and sealed the pinch with high-vac epoxy. Luckily the leak that caused the bad vac was due to damage on the outside (small crack) and there were no internal leaks (not easily fixable).

The cool thing is that once sealed dewar now is renewable vac, so if it leaks in the future, you could just hook a cheapo refrig pump up to it for a couple weeks and as long as you can find a pinch off tool to use, you are good to go.

Kinda handy working at a thin film vacuum dep. system manufacturer.

I was thinking on getting rid of it but now with these cheap, high clocking, cold-loving Phenom II chips available, it may find new life. I'll keep you in mind though if I do decide to get rid...
