I may do, my PC is just kinda in bits atm and don't want to take it apart further (mainly due to laze ) I'm growing to love the TPower a little at least, but I still don't like it much

just installed my new e7400, currently 'burning in' @ 333fsb stock everything. 1 hour of prime so far.

not sure if i have a problem with my temp sensor, but there's around 8-10 degrees difference between the cores at idle, but they do have the same temps at load though

You really got nice chip my E7400 needs 1.60 volts to do 4500 mhz stable.

It has 1.25V VID. It's a mid level chip

I've gotten to 3.4, can't figure out the screen shot or bios template though. never had a reason to I guess. I know to prt screen and paste to paint with the shots, what next? Would also like to get the template up. Thanks

You need to up them screens to a webhosting service like imageshack or co and then link them to your post ChuckM

What's the max FSB you get on your CPU mate ? 3.4seems kindda low on that mobo...

i have the same VID.. could that mean i'm gonna need the same voltages for those speeds? i haven't tried 4ghz prime runs yet..will do it once i get back home

400mhz - 1.4v not prime stable, good enough for superpi 2m
385mhz - 1.375v 30 min prime stable, will try lower voltage

Could you post your bios template, I realize you have the DDR3 board. According to coretemp, my vid is 1.2625. I've run prime, occt and IBT everything is stable and highest temp I've seen with IBT is 45c @ 16c ambient. My board came with bios f6, should I change to f7?Haven't had a chance to do much, workin' 2 jobs sucks!

I got to 3.6 (8 X 450) , linpack and occt stable, 49c highest temp. I'll get to play some more tomarrow.

we got ~same chips. average overclockers they are. I am waiting my Maximus Formula from RMA for now, then I will try some more oc'ing with new Rampage 802 bios with CPU/NB Clock skew settings.

I've had no luck goin' any higher than 3.6??????????? Vcore is 1.33 in bios MCH is 1.2, have taken Vcore to 1.34, won't boot. I'm probably bein' a little chicken with it. Did get my rma# for my ram, got to see if I can borrow some until I get them back.

No luck going over 3.85, anything near 400FSB reboots right away to "safe mode" so I either have a dud chip or i'm way off on the settings for this 780i.

Not impressed by it at all... thursday my cpu goes under phase... hopefully to get some better results topping at 4.75Ghz under air... hope to take 1st spot on CPU-Z around 5.6Ghz...

I'm talking about the germans scores mate by Micmoc (referring to your HWbot link) with the E7500... nothing that we can't match with lower specced CPU's... 4.4Ghz 1mb pi run nothing to be impressed at... You can do better than him for sure even with ya current lineup of CPU's ! Good luck with ya CPU mate, hope it's a scorcher... think my limitation will be more the mobo not the CPU...

and for ya EP45T go straight to F3 or F5 bios (don't use the F6A beta, on my board it was a total pos)
