    Update: the issue still seems to happen below 500FSB. No idea what the issue is.

    • i7 920 D0 // eVGA X58 SLI // 12GB G.Skill Ripjaws // HD6950 (6970 BIOS)

    I am guessing that your overclock is not stable and it is as simple as that.

    Lower your FSB.
