Sounds like that would be fun. Even with this 160hp version it is still fun to drive. I actually didn't even see a MazdaSpeed versions anywhere I looked. I don't think my insurance rates would be too friendly with that trim level either lol.

Insurance on the MS3 is no worse than any other car in its class. Would have been like 800/year more than a base model 2.0L mazda 3 for an 18 year old in NJ with a clean record.

By the way.. How much do you pay insurance per year? Here in Finland I pay ab 800€/year (ab1030 USD) of my Opel Omega with 3liter V6 engine (220hp). (Same car as Cadillac Catera there in the US). Driving is very expensive here because of expensive gas and car taxes too..

Just come to the Midwest in USA I call this place the Dollar store of the US. Gas here is 1.60 something and that is after it went up about ten cents. My car insurance and motorcycle insurance is like I think 1000 bucks all together so not bad considering my motorcycle is half the size of my four cyc car, but I am also on USAA insurance and have a few tickets I couldnt get off my record cause of how much I was going over.

I pay 300€/year for my insurance and it's on my fathers name. If I would set it at my name it would cost me about 1000€/year
