I have a 9800GX2 that's been in mine for 3 months without any screws. I practically had to stand on the thing to get them to push in it was so tight, did yours click in and everything?

Yes, both clicked in. I might just have a bad sample, but it doesn't matter. I don't need to change card often and I have proper tools to take any electronics apart.
