Pretty sure the answer to that is "No," if you're talking about the EK GTX 285 Full Cover water block.
I dropped EK a mail about this on thursday last week the reply I got below :-)

    2009/2/6 EK Support <support@ekwaterblocks.com>

    Hello,

Its same block as it is for 285GTX. We are just about to change aluminum
    pieces which is different.
They ll be out in max. 2 weeks.

    Lep pozdrav/Best regards/Cordialement/Mit freundlichen Grüßen/

Nope, but I am pretty shure my queue-number is low... Unfortunatly I have ordered the acetal-nickel block which will delay it an extra day or two according to our dear Eddy...

Ordered mine Saturday from Performance PCs -- so hopefully they have received their shipment from EK, or will shortly. (They are now listed as sold out at PPCs, but Frozen CPU is supposed to get some also).

Received it yesterday, had to do a quick install so have not made any pics. Block looks amazing, 720g pure :banana::banana::banana: in your hands...
Install was a breeze, manual is a 2 sided a4 with very clear instructions. Great tip for keeping the spacers in place with some goop Eddy!
Was expecting to find some goop in the box though but there wasn't any. Used supplied pads on the electical parts, AS5 on the GPU and Shin Etsu G751 on the mem chips.
Block stressed @ 720MHz never passed 58 degrees C with Furmark. Have not stressed mem over 2646Mhz yet, will do that in a few days when all goop has settled.
    EK block = Quality product!

Will you give us a NO ALUMINIUM option please. (I know the water doesn't run through it)

Not so sure about the finish. The area inside the red line doesn't look like it's been touched by the cutter meaning that part is not level with the rest of the block and will not make good contact if you decide to not use the thermal pads. Sorry, but for what your paying for these full cover blocks, they should be spot on perfect and this one isn't, but....that's JMO.

    Circles SucQ!

If your annoyed by sigs telling you to put things in your sig, then put this in your sig

    The flash shows many things.
If you took the block into your hands you would find it very nice machined.

My biggest concern with the EK block is that silly piece of aluminum bolted to the side of the FK block. Why isn't the entire block copper and why isn't there water running through that side where the VREG's are? I'm sure some heat is transfered from the aluminum plate to the copper FC block, but I would rather than have that whole area watercooled. Even the factory cooler has a fan that helps to keep that area cool, and with the EK block, you have nothing but a chunk of aluminum.

I know some of you guys are already reporting good GPU temps, but I want the entire card cooled by water otherwise I might as well be using a GPU-only block instead of a FC block. It just seems like a cheap way to manufacture a block. I sure wish Danger Den would get in gear with their 285 blocks.

Eddy, I have no doubt the majority of the blocks every company put out have great finishes that are consistent from one end to the other, yours included. There are however, blocks that slip past the ppl that are supposed to notice these things from time to time. This appears to be one of those blocks to me. I may have misspoke before by saying it "didn't get cut", what it really looks like is that the block may have shifted during milling causing an uneven surface.

Please note that I said that if you didn't use the thermal pads there may be a problem properly cooling the RAM. I never said there would be. I'm glad your getting good temps and for safety sake, I would recommend that if you ever take the block off, that you re-use or replace with similar thermal pads only and never use any other type of TIM in order to keep your good temps.

I suppose this other picture I've highlighted the questionable area is a part of your house as well? Looks an awful lot like what I traced in the other pic....no? The reflection of the flash off the box appears to be highlighting a uneven machined surface.
