Question Vmods on Geforce FX 5200?

    Hi,

does anyone already know how to vmod a Geforce FX 5200 card?
A friend of mine has got an Albatron Geforce FX 5200 128MB and he would like to increase its performance by doing the voltmods for Mem and GPU on the card.

    This is the card:

So, if anyone knows how to Vmod this card, please let me know.

    Thx in advance!

    Regards

    Ingo

Can you provide a pic of the back of the card?

I am not the HellFire that writes bios files. I work strictly on voltage modifications.

I check mine, but its MSI FX5200 128mb version. There are two LM358 voltage amplifier chips on each side. One on the top and the other on the back side. These chips are responsible for amplifying voltage required to either VDDR and VGPU.

You can try with 50K VR ( set 50K ohm ) to either Pin 6 or 2 (negative inverting input).

    OC till 50

Looks like it might, but as with any mod that isnt documented thoroughly, its a risk. Does your board have the same payout?

Then again, all mods are a risk....
