Re-Pin it. I take one pin to the middle gap of the plug and plug it in - one side of the plug just protrudes.

Here's the bclk I was able to do back on 30th jan with a 'bad' 965 and watercooling

220bclk solid for all the benchies us at Benchtec are interested in

    I am using a 2x1GB Kingston DDR3 and 1x1GB Crucial DDR3 as well, which isn't helping!

I have a new i7 920 to test with now so hopefully we will see an improvement.

johnegq, could you please pm me all the details?
system config and when exactly what happens, what you changed in the system to try and fix it, and if it ever worked fine or was DOA pretty much.

    thanks!

Without HT high BCLK is possible.
    Bios is G13.
did you try a more recent bios?
are you sure you set qpi uncore and mem multipliers correctly?

it works with G15 and G16, not sure about the newer ones, havent had time to test it.

you also need it for high bclock speeds and high qpi speeds, but the newer i7 cpus seem to need much less vtt than previous ones for everything, high uncore, qpi, bclock and mem clocks. looks like you have a recent one wich clocks very nicely!

yeah thats annoying, i had that a few times as well... most cases use a 2 pin cable, thats why we use a 2pin connector... you should be able to remove the cables like SAE mentioned, if thats not possible please pm me and ill see if i can help you somwhow

Could someone do a quick test...go into vista S3 sleep mode and see what happens upon resume, does it hang, or does everything work correctly?
This must be done at a BCLK of at least 200. Thanks?

NewEgg and end users make various statements, what they keep on forgetting is to mention that you need a super duper cherry-picked godlike memory kit.
Not to mention only a very limited amount of people have laid their hands on memory kits with the good Elpida ICs.

On the other side, this motherboard is taking every single DIMM of mine at least 50MHz ( DDR3-100 ) higher than any other board.

Have someone in A-Data or Corsair bin some kits for me and I'll hit it

Thanks Saaya. I need to return my gigabyte board to amazon by 4pm mountain time, tomorrow (thursday Feb.12) . If I find that SM does work at 200 BCLK before that time, I'll send the giga back and get a bloodrage. Otherwise, I'll keep the giga. Hopefully, someone will perform the simple test in time to help me.

Turbo works just fine for me.
Which BIOS version are you running ?
Have you enabled PPM, EIST, and disabled CxE ?
Have you set the Turbo Mode to Always On ?

Are your CPU's core temps under 90C @ Full Load ?

    strange mem readings?

    Hi you all bloodlovers ,

as this is the most active post for the bloodrage , i thought i try to post my bizzare mem problem here ik the hope to find a answer.
I have some experience with overclocking a core 2 duo and so ... but i7 is
something new for me and trying to get the picture
I'v read the most of the posts here and now there are some bios related mem problems, but wat ik encounter is somthing verry strange ( i think?) lol.
Whel let me explain my problem first.
It seems my memory (corsair dominator 1886MHz cl 9-9-9-24) only gos higher when i hit my bclk ip ? you say "dude thas normal?" I know but wy run my mem @ 1444MHz when ik set Bclk to 180 x 20 = 3600 an mem multi @ 10x,
It shouldn't hit 1600MHz wright? it always set the mem linked to my (fsb)speeds , no mether what mem multiplayer i use ? It only gos up when i higher my fsb !!
i try to explain wit pics ;-)

These are the settings i use

It took me the longest time to figure that was the combo, i thought i was sol, then i finally got it, an that sweet turbo came on.

I also love the ability to save different configs, top notch
