Is a Black ICE GT Stealth 360mm Rad Enough for Quad 295?

With an MCP655 in its own loop? Thanks!

Do you need the stealth because of space restrictions? I was running 2 9800gx2's with blocks through a single GTX240 Rad on it's own loop with an mcp655. I am getting new blocks for my gtx295's, but I am not sure If I am going to add a 360mm rad at the bottom of my case to get temps lower.....You should be able to do it fine with some medium speed fans....

    Quad 295, as in 8 gpu's?

That would be a lot of heat.

ASUS P6T WS revolution has either 6 or 7 PCIe X16 slots.

I saw that, but drivers don't support cards with that many gpu's. Well, unless that hydra thing comes out....

even 2 GTX 295's are a lot of heat, better go for extreme rad, maybe XSPC, Feser or Thermochill

I would happily use a larger rad, but heres my predicament:

I know i couldnt add 4 gpus worth of heat into my exsisting loop, but I can fit a slim radiator into the front of my case, question is am i going to get good temps under full load oc'ed using a 360mm BlackICE GT Stealh?

if not, anyone have any suggestions judging by the photo on how I would go abouts cooling dual 295 GTX's in its own loop?

    Thanks guys!

Get rid of that bay res (I think that is what it is) and you could add a quad rad in there. Just run a t-line.

I use the GT Stealth rads as they are nice and thin and able to fit in my case. They perform very well with high flow fans but are very restrictive. They are also better dust filters than my dust filters . Imho, these should be avoided unless needed.

I think the 360mm will be fine, it maybe on the upper limit but temps will be way better than stock whatever, just get some good fans with high CFM its needed more on the black ice rads

ell, Just get a better Rad and mount it on the back of the case off of the 120mm fan mount. I used and 2 old 120mm fans and cu the fans out to use the frames and hung a GTX480mm on the back!! I can PM you a picture, I have the same case. I alos bought the custom top plate that let me add a 240mm Rad to the top of the case!! Performance Pc's sells the top panel!! I will post some pics when I get home from Work!!

it would be better if you use MCR320
or rather you should google for MCR320 vs BI 360 stealth

tip: expensive is not always the better ones

Here are a couple of pics, but I will take some better ones when I get home. Also, If you are going to have 2 GTX 295's with waterblocks, you are going to have to have only three fans on that rad on the bottom or things won't fit I believe. I am thinking of adding a third rad to the bottom of the case like you have and add it to the loop with the GTX240 on the top of my case. Is that a 360mm rad on the bottom??

Your right about my space predicament, i could fit a 295 in the last PCI slot but there would be no gap for the fans on the radiator! so i was planning on using the first and second PCI slots so there next to each other.

also you could fit your quad radiator to the bottom of your case just like I have, but i use a feser triple instead of a quad. you make a p80 look so spacious without a rad inside! but i like your idea of hanging a quad on the back. so far this is the only feasible solution for cooling 4 gpus in my setup!

also theres a template somewhere for cutting out the bottom of your case to take a 360/480mm radiator, took me all night but it was so worth it. and i couldnt find this worklog thread on another forum of some europeans guys p80 case with a quad rad fitted to the bottom..

I really could use that template!! Where can I find it??I am going to add a 360mm to the bottom of my case, It will be on the same loop as the 240mm rad on the top of my case. On the Rampage II extreme the second card has to be in the second slot. Only those 2 are a full 16x. I Think you will have to get a 90 degree fitting for the bottom card because of the space restriction though......I am going to put BP mosfet blocks on it and hopefully the BP NB/SB block. I ordered the Koolance gtx295 blocks today. I am also going to paint the inside case Midnight Blue Color. I am buying a ton of stuff and I will have a build log!!

I am going to be running my mosfets nb/sb and the 2 gtx295's on the same loop. The quad rad is just for my I7! ell, what 30" monitor do you have? I still have my dell 3007WFP I have had for 2.5 years!

I'd still listen to the suggestion about changing from the Stealth 360 to a Swiftech MCR320...........probably the best performing rad for the money.
