I had a stuck sensor on my e8400 C0. I knew that it was a common problem with those, but I didn't think that the q9650's were having that problem. I just ordered one of these. I hope that I get a decent batch.

More of an inconvienience thatn a problem I would imagine??? Intel design the sensors for throttleing more than idle temp monitoring right?? And it does show the correct temp once above the 38' it stuck at on mine . This doesnt effect the chips performance does it???

Shouldn't affect anything beyond temp readings (obviously). And yea, with quad cores I wouldn't even care about 1 probe being stuck.

At least with my Q6600 1&2 are always about the same and 3&4 as well.

No, it dosen't effect performance at all. I'm on air cooling so it never bothered me. Load temps were accurate which is all that matters, anyways. With that VID and only one core being stuck I wouldn't care.
