Yes I have the PC2-8000 .16fd3. Seriously they are the best pair of D9GHM chips I have. They are rock solid at 2.28 volts anywhere from 1150-1366 5-5-5-15 PL8. They clock higher then my PC2-8500 .16fd3. Good luck with them. I am comparing them to my Team Xtreem pc2-6400 D9ghm, Corsair PC2-8500 V1.2

There's a 8000 C4 kit on ebay which I'm tempted to buy because, unlike the one I'm trying to sell, it's in new condition and it works; however I'm not sure whether to fork out on more D9 because I could get 4GB of G.Skill for roughly the same £. Maybe I should lol.

If you're talking Cell Shock, yes they are GMH and they aren't so good (well not my kit). I can do 950Mhz 4-3-3-10 2.175 with my GKX kits together, but I have to loosen that to 4-4-4-15 with the GKX/GMH combo.

Some tests on air with my 2 kits
    2x1GB Transcend Axe 800MHz @4-4-4-12 @1.8V and
    2x1GB Transcend Axe 1200+ @5-5-5-15 @2.2V
    both D9GMH.
    Validation with 800MHz kit.
    http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=501612

and some memtests with the same kit and 2.2V set on BIOS
    http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/5...293e5e6qm8.jpg

For 24/7 I`m using P5K-E wifi, and it cant overclock RAM too good, but i can boot 600FSB with 1200MHz RAM @4-4-4-12 with the second kit, and 5-4-4-10 with the first one, but on UD3P it seems second kit cant clock more then the first one.
Here are results with the second one
    http://img5.imageshack.us/img5/6863/...2887172iu1.jpg
2.3V BIOS, in dual channel its the same, but i didnt save a shot

    and validation:http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=501519
No big diffrence cl5 or 6, on cl5 same as the first kit . Tonight i will try for 1500MHz but not so easy with 10C ambient .

This screen was made when I tested for max SPi 1M, primary aim was of course sub 10s:

Crucial Anniversary Edition 2,65V on Bios

    Goodram Pro900 2,65V on Bios

This are max bootable settings for Pi. I think with some more V and clockgen/set FSB i can make a bit more :]
    Goodram's make's 600Mhz Cl5 on 2,2V i can't more beacause this is max of my mobo :/
Crucial AE not testes on Cl5 but i think it will be the same or a bit better.

So are all these 2.0v Crucial Ballistix at Newegg newer non D9 variants? Just curious to know even though some people are reporting that the 2x2GB PC2-6400 are good clockers.

You mean the regular Ballistix with the yellow heat spreaders here?
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820148212

Is the JKH newer than the GMH? Any advantages or disadvantages to them? I had some 2x1GB Corsair D9GMH that died but was looking for another set. Do they make D9GMH in 2x2GB? I'm looking for a cheap set of D9's preferably 2x2GB, anyone have any ideas or pointers on where I could pick some up? I'm in the USA. Thanks for the help and sorry for the 20 questions .

    Recommendations for 2x2gb sets, Any 1066 2x2gb D9's

Well, My Crucial Ballistix Tracers 2x1gb 16fd3 have finally dumped!
Well, 1 stick did, the other is still good, but considering the reliability record of these wonderful hot rods it proably isnt to far behind the bad one.

Anyways was doing 4x1gb on asus p5k deluxe, would like to go 2x2gb now.

Guys, What are your recommendation for the best 2x2gb ddr2 dual channel sets currently out? I do overclock and heavy gaming. currently running the Crucials @ 1075mhz 55515.

Was looking at the Patroit Viper 8500 2x2gb, are there any 2x2gb d9's out there.

    Thanks

The only D9's in 2 x 2GB sticks are D9 JKH and they are not very good, they might do 500 - 550MHz CL5. The best 2 x 2GB sticks are the G.Skill 9600's, they do 600 MHz + at CL5. They are expensive though.

D9 GKX and GMH only come in 1GB stick form, due to the IC size. Each GMH/GKX IC is 64M and a double sided 1GB module has 16 IC's (64M x 16 = 1024M).

Alright guys I know I'm killing you with all these questions but please bear with me as I find myself being very fascinated with these D9GMH's all of the sudden.

So when hunting for the 2x1GB PC6400 or PC8500 Ballistix are all the 2.2v C4 versions D9GMH or other D9 variant? I noticed on Ebay there are some being sold that are advertised as lot 16FD3 which are presumably the golden sticks so to speak, however they're charging double compared to other Ballistix C4 2.2v D9's.

Basically what I'm asking is are the lot number 16FD3 all that important in hopefully getting a high binned part? Are all 2.2v C4 Ballistix D9GMH?

    Thanks for you time.

1266 CL6 is about equivalent to 1066 CL5, so a set of Gskills, mushkin or corsair 8000 or 8500's will give you better bandwidth and latency, they can almost all do DDR2-1130 to 1160 CL5.

Interesting comparison there, very surprised to see CL6 @ 633 coming out on top. Were they the same Crucials at 571.4 MHz CL5? Whats the max totally stable speed they can do at CL5 on ~2.0 - 2.1v?
