Hey, don't you have that nifty red powdercoated case?

I'd say that it would look mighty fine with some SLI'ed 8800GT's sporting those red sinks...

    Hey guys, question.
Will these heatsinks fit on an 8800gt with an HR-03 GT cooler?

That sounds good! Silver, Nickel and Green PCB... yummy
First gotta make some more $$'s for the kit though, I'll have to use the cheap aluminum ones coming with the cooler for now.

i also have a hr-03-gt, and im scared the heatpipes wont clean the memory sink. the sinks that come with the hr-03 are really really skinny for those 2 chips.

anyone tryed this and see if it fit?

The whole heat spreader is quite thin.

Sorry for bumping an old thread, but anyone know if the original anodized ones for the 8800GT will work with a 9800GX2?

I just got mine in today, and I was using an HR-03GT. I can say that, unfortunately, this RAMsink is just too thick to be used with that particular VGA cooler . I was pretty disappointed.

I have found an alternative solution, however. I had an HR-05 SLI/IFX leftover from my 680i board that I can't use right now on my 780i. So I'm currently using it as my VGA cooler, and it's working very very well at the moment. I'm holding out for Thermalright's new T-Rad2 as soon as it comes out, however. I'm just hoping they didn't make that one so low of a profile that it won't work with this RAMsink either.

Hey, iandh, any chance you'd consider making a slimmer version of this thing for us die-hard Thermalright enthusiasts? We'd certainly appreciate it and pay top dollar for it.

Any of you guys who have HR-03's can send them to me and I'll trim them for the cost of return shipping. PM me.

Send you the ramsinks, right? Not the HR-03? I figured, I just thought it might need a little clarification before you were inundated with a bunch of GPU coolers.

I do appreciate the offer, though. I would take you up on it, but I'm going to wait and see how it does with the new T-Rad2 once it comes out. It appears that the clearance issue on those coolers, if they exist, will be with the side closest to the connectors, and not so much the "top" part. So I might take you up on that trimming offer once I see what it does with the T-Rad2, since I'm gonna be selling this HR-03 anyway once it arrives.

Great customer support, BTW, which is definitely to be highly commended!! I'll be purchasing a second set once I finally get around to purchasing my second card for SLI.

Sorry for the bump... But does XS think that these will work with a 9800GT..? seeing as they are pretty much rebrands.

So long as it is a reference card, it should fit perfectly.

Sorry for bumping an old thread.

My 8800GT recently died and XFX replaced it with this 9800GT:
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814150331

When I RMA'd the 8800GT I sold my iandh sinks. Thinking about getting a new set of iandh sinks for this new 9800GT. Will they work with this new XFX 9800GT?

As long as it's the G92 platform, you won't have any issues. The layout is the exact same.
