it's just not been the case (as far as i recall) that we are claiming W.R.s on unreleased hardware

you know about this as well as you went out of your way to point out to me in Taiwan that Intel SSD drives you were using for W.R.s in final stages of competition are readily available at newegg to purchase which is fair enough...not that i really saw that as an issue..... new gen CPU or GFX different story

i thought that GFX guys used to wait till NDA is up and it's official announced and out for this kinda of claim.....i guess CPU is the other important one here...rest who cares...... if sampsa posted and claimed a W.R. on a DDR3 based AMD CPU i would say the same thing
I totally agree with dinos22!

1000 thanks to FUGGER and Mikeguava to share with us the big results and the power of i7 975 D0 , but at the end imho this could not be considered as new WR. This is not a retail CPU and a lot of other guys that are good overclockers all over the world are out of this competition because of possibility to have one of this CPU sample.

I think it's time to establish some rules about this, for example that all WRs are possible only with retail component (that all people can buy and own) or something like this, otherwise the competition could no be so truthful.

Sorry guys but I have to say what I am thinking about this.
