    Does anyone else have a problem OC profile in bios? If I want to start OC profile it won't start. And if I want to save a profile in one of the two predefined slots it only saves under the default name. Anyone else who had this problem?

    Your kidding me right?!? I hope they will fix that with a new bios update. My previous board (P5E3-Premium) didn't had that issue and worked fine with RAID enabled. (It had other issues which the P6T-Deluxe is far superior in)

    If you have an 8 pin connector from your power supply use that instead, if not 4 pin will suffice hence the cover on the extra 4 emphasizing its not mandatory.
    I thought it was mandatory when a Quadcore is installed to provide enough juice, even at standard clock.

    Not mandatory, just more wires to divide the current across.

    @ Hannibal

    Thanks for your reply. I already thought I read somewhere across this forum that somebody had this problem as well. I added some screenshots from HD Tune while surfing the internet but it seems fine to me.

    @ Highoctane

    Alright, thanks for clarifying because I was convinced it was mandatory.

    Have you tried coretemp or realtemp to read temps to see if they report the same issue, maybe try reflashing the bios if all else fails.

    Anybody try running a sas drive on this board yet?

    I'm thinking about trying out a 15000rpm fujitsu but seems info is pretty sparse.

    There might be an issue running them in RAID 0 if i remember correctly..The reason for the v2 release? I'm not sure but have read this.

    Well v2 doesn't have sas at all so I don't think thats it, from what I can gather v2 is going to possibly be sold at a lower price point possibly due in part to the sas delete.

    I'm wondering whats taking Asus so long, they normally have like 20 variants of a board by the time its been out this long, where's the e se pro pro se pro e etc.

    Ok, found another bug or something and I'm curious if someone else experiences the same. Everytime I puch the power button to start up my comp. it starts and stops after few seconds, to boot normally after a few seconds stop. It's similar like you have set a failed OC and the system reboots twice but during second reboot bios has been reset to default during POST and you have to push F1 to get in the bios or continue boot with default settings. The only important difference with my "normal" startup is that the second time the OC settings are still present and will boot in Windows just fine. Is this a commonly known issue with bios 1102 or am I the only one having this problem?

    Thinks found till know:
    - OC profile program not working;
    - Weird HDD lockups;
    - Booting twice when turning on power.

    Can you run SATA drives on the SAS controller if you need to add extra drives and all your other SATA ports are used?
    Not a Dell.
