Dude so simple, open PI,open taskmanager, set PI to realtime priority, kill explorer.exe Run PI, ctrl, alt delete taskmanager back, click on file, new task type in explorer.exe...........

Run PI 1m twice, the second time is almost always faster Only tweak I used, and you were at 3000NB that score is bad..

So I got bored today, decided to nix my vista install because I never used it with my windows 7 beta, so I now have windows 7 x64 running. I did the intel burn test with 4ghz/2.75ghz and it passed 10 times with 1024mb memory. It wouldn't pass with 3ghz nb so I had to change that. My vapo's temp sensor got stuck so I need to fix that right now and then I'll get working on higher speeds.
Not much to say right now.

The low NB / HT frequency hurt your score quite a bit. I'm still stuck at 3.6GHz though, so you're way ahead of me!

Well, you're all talking about SuperPi so I've decided to give it a shot!

Here is my attempt to get best Pi 1M time on AIR. Ambient ~20C, not fully tweaked.

REMINDER: If you want added to the list, you need to PM me pointing to your post or I probably won't notice. I haven't had any submission in a few days now.
Particle's First Rule of Online Technical Discussion:
As a thread about any computer related subject has its length approach infinity, the likelihood and inevitability of a poorly constructed AMD vs. Intel fight also exponentially increases.

    Rule 1A:
Likewise, the frequency of a car pseudoanalogy to explain a technical concept increases with thread length. This will make many people chuckle, as computer people are rarely knowledgeable about vehicular mechanics.

    Rule 2:
When confronted with a post that is contrary to what a poster likes, believes, or most often wants to be correct, the poster will pick out only minor details that are largely irrelevant in an attempt to shut out the conflicting idea. The core of the post will be left alone since it isn't easy to contradict what the person is actually saying.

    Rule 2A:
When a poster cannot properly refute a post they do not like (as described above), the poster will most likely invent fictitious counter-points and/or begin to attack the other's credibility in feeble ways that are dramatic but irrelevant. Do not underestimate this tactic, as in the online world this will sway many observers. Do not forget: Correctness is decided only by what is said last, the most loudly, or with greatest repetition.

    Rule 3:
When it comes to computer news, 70% of Internet rumors are outright fabricated, 20% are inaccurate enough to simply be discarded, and about 10% are based in reality. Grains of salt--become familiar with them.

Remember: When debating online, everyone else is ALWAYS wrong if they do not agree with you!

    Random Tip o' the Whatever
You just can't win. If your product offers feature A instead of B, people will moan how A is stupid and it didn't offer B. If your product offers B instead of A, they'll likewise complain and rant about how anyone's retarded cousin could figure out A is what the market wants.

Yah DI,First time just playing not optimiing. If you compare these 2 the above can probably shave another second off. The intersting part is if i can get it down to 14.18 that puts it 2 secs away from my best intel run at 4.2g @ 12.18, the gap gets less and less.

woa so it shows efficiency higher with lower NB clocks A lot of my scores are bogus however mass, they have programs in back ground, not optimized....Not to mention MY os is held together with rubber bands, paperclips and chewing gum, so bad that I'm reinstalling now that 4.3 validation on air is a bugger.

I know that the scores are not comparable one-on-one, but that doesn't matter. I'm only looking for general trends at the moment; in the near future I'll be doing my own scaling tests and see how my results stack up against the correlations I've found using all the data I have already.

    (tests will be ~~ http://www.madshrimps.be/?action=getarticle&articID=895)

    Thanks.

I don't actually need all the best scores, just ... scores. The whole purpose of collecting results and not starting a thread requesting them is so that I could monitor the trends without having the effect of people trying to get higher on the efficiency ranking

That's the reason why i wrote "not much tweaked" at hwbot-description, but you don't care.
