heheh good point Slovnaft
the truth of the matter is that AMD still has no chance of competing against Intel for W.R. seriously
they need to go back to their labs and work some more on efficiency

Great thread![]()
All this time I thought that AMD bet on PII low system price (if you also take into consideration the board it is obviously cheapest) and not on PII performance ...
It's supposed that we all together in this benching community, sharing our experiences, competing for first places (friendly), exchanging knowledge, but turns out that a lot of things have changed these last couple yearsDr.Who was being negative from the moment first un-confirmed pictures came out, showing AMD CPUs over 6GHz ... I know he sees all this like one more thing he has to do for work, but has no right to disrespect in that awful way three overclocking legends like macci, SF3D and Sampsa !
Benchmarking is about WRs you "fools" ... It's about having fun, that's at least the main reason overclocking started years and years ago ... Seems like though, fun is sacrificed and replaced by marketing, money and business ...
P.S. Not approved drivers used hence, no WR can be claimedIt's like as if, for example some guys posted 3 months ago PCMark05 WRs that had XP Startup way above 225 MB/s limit
