Ive only been overclocking intel CPUs for the past 2 years and coming back to AMD makes me feel noobish again.

I think your processor-nb volt is too low.
how stable are those settings? do they post?

    @Fizur2002:
You must check/set your DRAM-speed to manual to verify the current "divider".
At present you have no control over the resulting DRAM-speed vs HTT(FSB).
Since you've got a 940 I see no point in "fiddling" with HTT(FSB).
Just let everything exept VCore/MP be "Auto" to find the OC-potential for your "chip".

yeah, looking at his sig, mem is running ~920mhz with Auto setting. Thats probably the wall.

BTW, fizur2002, I think you don't need those high HT and PCI-e voltages.

New CPU-Z validation and Pi run

I have been trying to hit higher then 4,1 ghz. I found the chip did not need the voltage I was using to try and do this. I was actually able to run Pi 1M also.

That is pretty awesome at that vcore. I am assuming that you are on water (according to your sig)? Also when you gave it too much vcore would it just lock up or BSOD?

Is that a retail chip? week 41?
Particle's First Rule of Online Technical Discussion:
As a thread about any computer related subject has its length approach infinity, the likelihood and inevitability of a poorly constructed AMD vs. Intel fight also exponentially increases.

    Rule 1A:
Likewise, the frequency of a car pseudoanalogy to explain a technical concept increases with thread length. This will make many people chuckle, as computer people are rarely knowledgeable about vehicular mechanics.

    Rule 2:
When confronted with a post that is contrary to what a poster likes, believes, or most often wants to be correct, the poster will pick out only minor details that are largely irrelevant in an attempt to shut out the conflicting idea. The core of the post will be left alone since it isn't easy to contradict what the person is actually saying.

    Rule 2A:
When a poster cannot properly refute a post they do not like (as described above), the poster will most likely invent fictitious counter-points and/or begin to attack the other's credibility in feeble ways that are dramatic but irrelevant. Do not underestimate this tactic, as in the online world this will sway many observers. Do not forget: Correctness is decided only by what is said last, the most loudly, or with greatest repetition.

Remember: When debating online, everyone else is ALWAYS wrong if they do not agree with you!

Thaught it was strange too, have it installed now and worked like a charm from the begining, haven't tried to clock it yet thou that will come tomorrow. The last 5 digits was "80006" so I am hoping it does well even thou its from week 41 :P

I won it on a swedish forum newly started dedicated to AMD. The owner got this for free from the AMD office when the forum came in an article so he decided to start a competition and I happened to be the one who answeared all questions correctly and was picked as winner.

*Tease* Time for work, will be clocking the hell out of it later today

    MSI K9A2 Platinum V.1
    2x2GB Crucial BallistiX PC6400 CL4 (easily does about 1140mhz CL5 24/7 stable)

I am using BETA Bios: V1.7B4

Not the best board around anymore, but I am hoping for good results as it has been able to create great clocks before, so far it seems ACC isn't even working so I won't be crippled with SB600 (yet) until proper BIOS support for you SB750 people are coming.
