I actually bought for 140 bucks shipped on Ebay an Intel T2700 cpu and dropped it in today. I am getting about a 20% increase in gaming along with my tweaked memory timings. Not a bad deal and while I could have gone with a T7600 C2D those sell for 250+ and I didnt want to shell that much. The extra 100 bought a 320gb 7200rpm SATA300 drive and another 2GB of ram. I'm set for another 18 months now. Anyone know if the 1705 can handle the 200fsb processors??? Just curious cause they have a 2.6ghz 4mb cache that would pwn if so.
