The Red/Green mode is related to AOD (It's the ring in the upper right corner of AOD). In Bios it's turned on/off with the "CPU Tweak" option, and from my experience it does add alot of heat without much benefit....

On another note.... I've been playing with my 3.9Ghz OC tonight and I'm really starting to think I can get this stable...

Here's a SS with a bunch of benchies including CineBench which is always touchy, but seemed to run without problems using these settings.



JUST A WARNING!, If your running on Air you probably wouldn't want to run your CPUvid @ 1.6v's, but as you can see from the SS my "redneck" water cooler keeps temps pretty well in check...
