    definitely not.
    These i7 run hot like hell, believe me, I own one.

    I already have the project built with a dual what about adding an extra instead of replacing the dual? Like a triple or another dual...

    That's what I did, but are you cooling a GPU with that? If you are, you'll see an increase in temps depending on the card. I have 2 - 4870X2 in the same loop with a double and triple rad. I removed the vid cards and my temps are 5-7C cooler idle. I still have to run some tests to see if the cooling difference is greater under load.

    I have individual loops. CPU, VGA('s) & MB/HD's.
    I'm going for a triple with push and pull for the CPU, the two dual's i'll keep for the VGA's.

    That'll work. Are you interested in a couple 4870X2 w/ waterblock?
