I don't really see what so much better in lachesis than in mx518. The mx 518 works great without any quarks but my lachesis somedays didnt want to work across the entire monitor. Felt like it was stuck in a box until i repluged it, the precision was not good either at all cus it felt like i was painting in mspaint where the line was very blocky/pixelated.

Sometimes the scroll button stoped working in win. Of course i flashed it to the latest firmware at the time to 1.6 and one time i found that it had reflashed itself to 1.8 without me doing anything at all. I couldnt even find that version on razors site, but it worked great as it should from then but it still didn't feel smooth at all in movements.

How could you say that it is a top notch product when even my pals have similar problems. and let not forget that the mouse pointer sometimes wandered of on it own to the left sometimes. maybe if the quality checks were better i could say that it is a top product.

I'd like to try the Deathadder. The best game mouse I've ever used is the MX510, but it hit the floor one day and died. My current G5 is good but I miss the 510 so I voted "Other".

I've tried most of the mice on that list. The mx518 felt the best and I've stuck with it for awhile now.

looooved my G5. Got rid of it with my desktop when i sold it. Got a free copperhead with my new asus laptop though, its ok. I miss the G5.
I always argue with my roommate about my G5 having been better than the 4000 ing razers hes owned. My roomy is a retarded Razer fanboy that believes all of razers markting hypes, and buys every new "refresh" of a stupid ing gimicky product that they make.

I didn't buy my mouse based on some subjective performance characteristic as I haven't seen an actual benchmark with which to test against. I bought it based entirely on feel. I spent around an hour in a best buy with the various mice on display (around 7 or so) and the one I felt fit my hand the best was the Logitech G9. I tried not to look at the mouse before I put my hand on it and just kinda blindly tried to find it and then move it around. I'm not a professional gamer, nor would I even call myself an amateur gamer. I only play games nowadays out of boredom and to pass some time.

All I know is, the G9 doesn't stutter or have significant lag in windows like a lot of the $10-20 cheap ass optical/laser sensor mice that I've run into while using Army computers. I did not install Logitech's mouse software that came with it so I don't know if it's actually useful. It's probably a waste of time and additional, unnecessary cost to an already fairly expensive mouse.

If the mouse doesn't stutter/lag on you and it feels good in your hand, but you want a so called better gaming mouse cause you lost or something to another gamer with a more expensive mouse even though yours is close to $100... You probably have some issues.

Voted for my Microsoft Habu best mouse for my hand. Just wish the lift off distance was less.

Edit: Well maybe I should have voted for the Intellimouse, because they are pretty much the same shape.

I've tried quite a few, including the A4Tech mentioned above, and so far my favorite is the Logitech G5 v2. Combine it with a fUnc 1030 Archetype and you're in smooth glide city.

I would have voted for the 518 but after the right click button gave up on me I sadly retired the mouse. I tried using it for a long time with a broken right click haha, I would have to press the button at least 10 times for it to work haha. Since the breaking of my 518 I voted for the Deathadder which I am currently using at the moment.
