Hello everybody. As some of you may know from my postings in the general i7 overclocking thread, I am attempting to collect data on people's i7 overclocks in order to figure out what allows some users to get relatively high OC's on such low voltages.
My hypothesis is that the secrete is in how all the various settings and voltages relate to each other... in a sort of harmony. Thus many of us who seem stuck at high voltage overclocks may be in that situation more as a result of an unbalance in settings/voltages than in your "unlucky" batch number.
So... here is what I need in order to complete this study: Will those of you who have relatively low voltage 3.8ghz i7 overclocks and higher please post in your complete settings and voltages, as well as basic system info such as your CPU, batch number (if you know it), motherboard, and CPU cooler. Leave nothing out please. It is very important that I have equivalent data from each of you in order to compare them precisely. Also, will you please try to post the data in a roughly similar fashion that I give below in the example.
Heres an example of how I'd like the data to be posted. But if you have more settings or voltages please include them, as this is only a basic example.

Thats it, I just need the data. If you want to include other info or notes as well that would be fine. Hopefully all this will help us unlock the mysteries of the i7. Once I have a good amount of data collected I will compile it, test, and of course share all the results. And if any other members would like to take the data and run tests of their own that would be great as well. Thanks to everybody in advance for donating your info
