Asus M3A79-T Deluxe

kinda random but does anyone know if this is the only mobo that will run 4 sticks @ 1066 or do any other boards do it?

My MSI DKA790GX did 1066 with 2 sticks of g-skill 800 and 2 sticks of a-data 800........and I was running 260+ bus speed.

ya i think all the boards can do that (if htt goes that high) but i meant at the 1066 divider

Does anyone else have AOD crash their system (just opening it) when CPU core is set higher than 1.45v's in bios?

Guess I'll look for that AOD.ini mod to allow 1.55v's in AOD even though it killed my MSI DKA790GX...

I'm pretty sure this Asus has a much beefier PWM section than the MSI did..

the PWM on the M3A79-T is great!

oh and AOD did that to me a lot, so I just stopped using it

I'm at 3.75ghz at 1.55 volts. Idle is much lower then the last time I tried this with multiplier.
42C last time was like 50C...

If only they will overclock with less voltage, that would be awesome. How high in voltage have people taken the P II's already on water or air????

how cares about volts when you need the the MAX SPEED lol

I think I've found my problem I disable cpu tweak in the bios but AOD is coming up in red wth....

I have had it up to 1.66 on water for at least an hour benching. Does not seem to mind it a bit.

ya either or.......I had no problem running them at 1066 either. 4 sticks with no problems......I ran 2x2gb and 2x1gb for 6gb all 4 dimms with no problem. 2 sticks were ddr800 and the other 2 were 1066 and all 4 ran fine.
