    Great work (documentation of OC) zif33rs.
    Now I am looking forward to OC X4 920 (when I get it).
    Hopefully the DFI LR Jr is as good as your Biostar 790GX.

    SPi 1M at 3.9ghz. This is a couple of tenths slower than my best of 17.672s but with a much higher HT freq and a 400mhz lower NB freq.

    Still having problems getting core temp readings...its a hit or miss thing...but when they do work they have been close(couple of C) of the TMPIN2 and ACPI readings shown by HWMonitor and Everest. Usually a tad bit lower if I am reading it right. So temps seem to be manageable still using the stock HS at up to 1.55v

    Back at that elusive 4.0ghz...

    Core i7 920 has lower clock speed and it can get the same clock speed as Phenom II 940 when overclocked. Therefore, i7 overclocks better than Phenom II

    Furthermore, Core i7 920 outperforms Phenom II 940 by %22 at stock. So, the difference should be even bigger at the same clock speed

    Also, take into consideration that many application/games don't use the full power of the 8 threads

    @cdawall

    I really would like to know how NV boards OC these chips.ACC seems to be unnecessary for Deneb OCing since many SB600 boards without ACC are doing fine with 940 and even 920.

    they should also have good results with Ph2, the ACC is built in on cpu die

    i'm getting a 945BE so that should work well enough for a test chip
