I got 267 with the 15x multi. Not sure if higher was a problem because of my ram though. My board is just being finicky with any real settings I try with it. Its finally starting to get colder though, a few degrees here according to the socket temp, but that's all I have to go by other than evap temp which doesn't say much.

Yes, and that's the whole point. CPU temps are CPU temps regardless of the cooler. If people with better coolers and/or lower ambients are clocking better because their core temperature is lower, that's significant. EDIT: No go, sadly my ram isnt going to cooperate with this little experiment. Either I drop the multi of it down and then my board wont post 300+ or I go out of spec of my ram and it BSODs.
I'll elaborate on how to keep your RAM from being a problem.
HTT:RAM Frequency Ratios
400MHz RAM Setting = 1:1
533MHz RAM Setting = 1:1.33
667MHz RAM Setting = 1:1.67
800MHz RAM Setting = 1:2
So for example, DDR2-800 memory with an HTT of 250MHz and a RAM setting being at DDR2-667 in the BIOS will yield 399MHz (which is the same as stock spec).Remember to drop your RAM multipliers, people!

Yeah, the core multiplier has no effect on the rest of the system. So multiplier clocks work well. It's not the best overclock of course, the best one would be the lowest multiplier for the highest speed I guess.
