not much of a upgrade from a gtx260-216 realy few fps 285 is just a overclocked 280 lol wait Q3-4 DX11 CARDS
Exactly. If you already have a c216GTX260 or a 280, the 285 really isnt worthy of calling it an upgrade IMHO. I was going to get the 295 as my 260 is @ evga for RMA, but they told me a 55nm GTX260 would only cost $7.00 + shipping, so im doing that, and not even thinking about the 295, as i've had the 9800GX2, 7900GX2, and were lack lust in games, and longevity and support it seemed. I dont think there dual pcb cards are really worth while.
Nothing anymore
295 looks like a VHS tape.

I have 2 260's not the 216's that will be stepped up to the 285. I was thinking about the 295 but I'll pass.
Since people have said the gtx285 is not enough of a step up for the 260 core 216, I might go up to the 55nm version in hopes of a better OC, but I think I'll skip this "generation."
You must [not] advance.

hmmm step-up to the 295 for $275 is tempting...only slightly more than just getting a second 260.
