Man... I just went online to actually order one of these drives for my Dell XPS 1530 notebook because I read sometime in December that they'd be out before 2009 and much like you guys.... i'm bummed.

If they're as good as people are claiming, i may have to get a couple more and put them in my desktop rig in RAID-0.

Super Talent. Basically the same drive under different brand, slightly different models.

Super Talent Ultradrive ME/LE will be launched as soon as the Vertex series and Patriot just announced the Warp v3 which should be almost the same

    SERIOUSLY!

    FREAKIN' DYIN' HERE.

I've got i7 parts here and some still coming in the mail and I can't do squat until I get some Vertex SSDs. Ok, I guess I could build it up with my existing VR's, but then I'd be ripping it all apart in a week (hopefully) again.

Ever hear of Acronis? Just set it up with any hdd and clone the whole OS as soon as you get your hands on a Vertex.

Depends on controller..if 2xJMicron B @Raid0 it will be ~low budget like GSkill Titan, if it was the same as Ultradrives/Vertex then probably the same price category

@160MB/s writes, which is more than twice as fast as Intel X25-M, I doubt it's JMicron s***.
I do have some ideas of the price, but I wondered if anything had some data, since no news sites or Patriot themselves announced the pricing.

    Ah, misunderstanding.
AFAIK Patriot never had a SSD that wasn't sold by OCZ as well. I'm almost sure this will be the same drive, possibly with slight changes like different cache size.
