    It's disabled. If you want some light reading, go to the AMD website and find the developer PDF on Agena. Both DDR2 & DDR3 are discussed in that document as supported by the IMC. Phenom has had the capability to run both flavors from day 1......AMD has chosen not to enable the DDR3 portion until they, and the MB manufacturers were ready.

    i know its a fact it can't run it. its disabled by fuses on the cpu and according to amd it can't run it. wouldn't have a point to have them run it tho. it would make the am3 chip pointless plus people who have phenoms right now wouldn't have to buy a phenom II for ddr3.
