I'm having to use above 1.45 for anything decent, although my temps are pretty good regardless - 29 Idle / 40-49 load MAX.
You sure about those temps? I saw a person using a Quad Rad and tons of air pushing it with temps of over 65 for 1.45.

Mine runs around 62 MAX load at 1.4 thats with a thermochill PA 120.2 though.

I have a 480mm Rad with the CPU on a single loop with 4 silverstone 110cfm fans on a fan controller. I have to use 1.45v to 1.55V for anything to be stable between 3.9ghz to 4.3ghz. With Ht off I get temps of 65c-70c at load, with HT on I get 78-82c at load!! What Scaramonga is seeing is the CPU temp, not the actual temps of the cores. The CPU temps show a lot lower than the actual core temps...
(New build):MSI Big Bang X-power II with XSPC MB blocks, Core I7 3930k@4.6Ghz with HT on, 3x GTX 480 SLI with EK Waterblocks(for now), X-fi Titanium, Gskill quad kit 16GB 2133mhz, 2x240GB Corsair GT SSD's(raid 0), 3xWD 2TB drives, Silverstone Strider ST1500 Watt, Dell3007WFP and 2x Samsung 305T's. Water loop: EK HF CPU block, XSPC RX480 Rad, Coolgate GC480, Airplex Revolution 420 Rad, 2x DDC 3.25 18W with EK dual top, Caselabs STH10 white with customizations....

No wonder....so you have the vent right behind your radiator with your fans pulling cold air in??

    Yup buddy.

Vent is about a foot square and is required by law as ventilation for gas heating fumes. It just so happens that it sits nicely at back of RAD roughly 4 inches away. I have 3 Yate Loons pulling air from vent in through RAD Works rather well, until summer time comes along, when I reverse the fans to blow instead of pull
