    Swiftech MCP355: Is this right?

I recently purchased an order from Petra's and i have a question about the pump i received. I may be wrong but i thought the screws that hold the top on are phillips head. You can see in the picture that my screws are the star pattern and also came with quite a lot of rust in them (i cleaned most of it out). Is this normal? As the screws look somewhat used, i wanted ask the experts.

Torx, I like torx they tend to strip less than phillips.

torx are awesome, even if you don't have any torx drivers you can usually even find hex keys that will fit but that doesn't guarantee non stripping.

They switched over to Torx around Sept/Oct so you are good to go.
