What is a Noob? Well I am one. I learn something new here every day from the wealth of knowledge that is XS.

I came to this forum knowing a little about PC watercooling but a good amount about watercooling. The largest watercooled system that I have worked on was a 450 tons R-11 Centrifugal. But with the "Stickies", "Search" function and help of people such as nikhsub1 I was able to start piecing the information together. We all start somewhere and it is a journey that is best walked with help from those who know the path.

So many times I read threads where people are hungry for knowledge but do not know how to ask the right questions. It is our responsibility to pass on our knowledge that we obtained with someone else's help. There are so many talented people on this forum that have paid their dues and know how to impart that knowledge. Yes there are those that come here wanting to be spoon fed but it is our nature to want to jump in sometimes before we really know how deep the water is. I was impatient at first but I was politely guided to the Stickies, asked to read them and come back when I had a basic knowledge of PC watercooling so that I could ask the right questions. Those "Teachers" knew that the journey is sometimes more rewarding than the destination.

what amazes me the most is how many different watercooling parts are available these days. I mean you can get anything. Companies spending alot of time on the forums really trying to give us exactly what we want. I give them the highest praise because we really demand alot.

I remember back then if you wanted to overclock then you looked up to DJ and Macci, they were the kings of overclocking. For watercooling though IMHO there has only ever been one professional, CATHAR. Some of the ideas he came up with were nothing short of revolutionary. If it werent for Cathar watercooling would still be in the stone age.

Ive been in watercooling for almost 10years now so i dont really ask many questions. Not to say i dont have them but that is the beauty of this site , you can find the answer to pretty much any watercooling question. And if you dont just ask and im pretty sure someone knows.
