    [OCTH] G.Skill F3-12800CL8T-6GBPI-B

Hey guys, I did a short test of my new G.Skill F3-12800CL8T-6GBPI-B kit. Don't care about Pi times. Test was about to stability.

    Test environment:

    DFI LanParty UT X58-T3eH8
    Intel Core i7 965XE
    Thermalright TRUE Copper
    G.Skill F3-12800CL8T-6GBPI-B
    Zotac GeForce 8400 GS
    CSX SLC 30GB SSD
    Silverstone Decathlon 1200W
Windows Vista Ultimate SP1 64 bit
    HyperPi 0.98b

    ddr3-1850 8-9-8-21-1T @ ~1.66v

    ddr3-2000 9-9-8-21-1T @ ~1.66v

    ddr3-2000 8-9-8-21-1T @ ~1.84v

And at last some photos about the kit:

We all know there will be better Tri-Channel kits on the market but till that time this kit is not that bad

Thanks for the mini-review jugeen. Nice numbers.
Im waiting for this memory kit to mount my 920 in the DFI.

Did you try 900 with the stock timings?

Actually you guys should check the OCZ DDR3 Platinum 1333Mhz @ 7-7-7.
I own the 3GB model and at 7-7-7-18 1T, 1.64v I was able to run them at 1650Mhz.
Going up to 8-8-8-18 1T, 1.64v I was able to run them on 1850Mhz, I stopped there as it seems my mem controller (uncore) doesn't like high speed ram
I think this babies can run at 2000Mhz 9-9-9 or even less at stock voltages.

With some voltage increase they can probably do the 2000Mhz@7-8-7 magic numbers

Very nice sticks, I am about to get this kit for a review this week.
One question though: do they stop scale up with voltage at about 1.8v or you guys are too shy ?
    Can someone try 2.0v ?

    Thanks !

A nice set of ram I must say.
2100 Mhz @ 9-9-9-24 1.8v seems to be the limit for benches like Super Pi/PiFast.

    Not too bad:

I tested my kit with 1,35-1,5 vtt, 166x20 and dram x12, with 200x16 and dram 10x, and nothing, i can load windows at 1900 9-9-9-24 but not at 2000 9-9-9-24 1,66v.
Not bad, but i expected more from them.
