Wow. What's the point? Another 7 pounds of heatsink for 2C better temps over a TRUE? Hey, guys, ever heard of "diminishing returns"?

Also, what's the deal with this Jeff guy who posts on expreview? For someone with such a typically American name, he sure epically fails at English.

no way this beats TRUE (unless massssive heatloads).. Or at least I, with my 0 heatsink knowledge think so :p The v12 looks weird, why is there such a gap in the front fins :X

Cant imagine how damn frustrating will be to mount one of those monsters :X

Well, the 2C was just a number I pulled out of the air--2C would be a quite a feat, considering.

Thanks for the data, Angelreaper! Puts my mind at ease for not waiting for a new crop of coolers and going with the TRUE. Heatpipe designs seem to be a delicate balance between efficiency and mediocrity. I've wondered why Alpha and Swiftech didn't join the fray.

I can imagine the v8 being of some use. The v8's design is nearly adentical to the thermalright ifx, but 2 fans attached already. Only difference being it having a plate at the top with a garish v8 logo on it.

The v12 is a monster indeed, it looks ready to tear your motherboard apart. It also looks as if it has some sort of cooler for the ram which is a good idea but really, ram does not get that hot really. Secondly I wonder what the clearance is between the ram and cooler as some heatsinks like the ocz reapers may have a problem fitting it in.
