First off, you cant set the vid past 1.55. For those boards that can go past 1.55, its not just vid, there's another hidden voltage bump. For example my M3A79 has a vcore setting in the bios that goes upto 1.7v. 1.55vcore = 1.55vid, 1.65vcore = 1.55vid + 0.1v boost, 1.7vcore = 1.5vid + 0.2v boost, with AOD i can push it to 1.75, which cpuz reads closer to 1.8, and with a load i've seen cpuz report 1.884vcore, but i havent found anything to let me set it above 1.9vcore.

The problem with setting htref clock from AOD is if you have any other apps running that poll the board (cpuz and friends), then it may cause a deadlock. Im not really sure if its something AOD can workaround, but we may see some improvements with this with AOD 2.1.5 which will be released with the Denebs.

As for losing the max vcore, there is a bug(again being fixed in AOD 2.1.5) that if your system crashes while AOD is making changes, it resets everything to default. You'll know its reset if you open AOD and its in kiddie overclock mode. Close AOD, edit the pref.xml file, and open it again and you'll have your vcore back.

Im curios, what kind of temps are you guys down to to get 3.6? I got my water setup the other day and ran some benchies. Load temps on water/cpu were around 11/19c at 3.55, got me a nice gold cup for my 9850 on wprime32, but i lock up on any attempt for 3.6

I have done a clean install of vista 32 and setting the pref.xml file to 1 does nohing. I have tried many times to reinstall aod and it will not go above 1.45. With a clean install I didnt oc so there was no crash to reset the pref.xml. In fact when I installed it the first time the file was already set to 1 without me touching it. So i still only get 1.45v. I may just get another mobo

Reset your bios for a sustained period of time, i.e a couple of hours, if that dont work, reflash it. Do all this with AOD uninstalled from the system..............
