    Alternative for PT nuke ?

Im soon starting my Lian Li V1000 build with a Swiftec GTZ & XSPC 4870X2 Razor blocks. I have a bottle of fluid XP deep purple coolant, but it looks awfully thick. And since the GTZ is a fairly restrictive block im a bit worried about clogging & staining the blocks. I did use Feser's cooling fluid on my last build and didn't have any problems with it. But the real question is if I decide to run pure distilled what could I use instead of PT nuke, since my local dealers don't have such stuff ( here in Finland ). I was thinking some antifreeze etc. stuff might work and keep it clean from algae, or will it do more harm in a loop ?

There called Silver Kill Coils, you get them petra's made by iandh..

    They go inloop like so:

Look like this when not inside the loop:

    Option 2 with silver:
IS if you have an EK res, you can always plop one inside like so:

Id move to silver, its renewable, you cant OD it, and also is the best antimicrobe you can have in loop.

If you dont mind clear coolant, 4-5 drops of bleach will keep out algae, etc. Of course, dont use it with dyes....don't ingest, put in eyes, etc...

Bleach is Tygon-safe? Interesting. What reactions with copper, aluminum, brass, gold, etc?

I havent noticed any effects of bleach in any tubing. I used about 4 drops for about 1.5 liters of distilled water.

It probably did oxidize with the copper in the loop, but since it was such a small amount, I don't see anything. Dunno what compound would form, since bleach is a dissolved NaClO3, I can only assume NaCl and cuprous or cupric oxide....

Im not a chemist, just an engineer.

Im not really keen to order a bottle or two of PT nuke half around the globe, so I guess it's the pet shop for me and some anti algae stuff. Or I'll go with the Fluid XP ultra with it's pretty colours and worry about clogging & staining later. Don't have any acrylic in my loop so that latter isn't a big problem. Thanks for the tips.
