PII relative performance

Well Bhad Coga, the title is PII relative performance (as in Phenom II, lol) and, well, his post is about....relative performance.

I will be adding my comparative testing to this thread of how Phenom I scales with NB frequency increase, and hopefully will be adding to this with scaling of Phenom II performance with increase in NB frequency.

See if you can do some postive testing with your intel rig!

What difference does it make to us as consumers if the reason the Phenom performs poorly compared to Intel alternatives is due to cache or some other factor?
