DFI LP UT X58-T3eH8 and SLI Issues.

I setup my board without a hitch. I installed everything with only one of my 9800GTX+ cards. as soon as I plug in my second card it refuses to boot. I forgot to plug my floppy power connectors to the PCIe x16 ports so I put them on and still it won't boot. I even disconnected the SLI bridge with no changes.

The strange thing is it passes the post test. I get cmos reloaded ... OK and then it refuses to even start loading windows. It just resets immediately and gets stuck in a continous loop.

I went into the BIOS and I even tried to play around in the IRQ menu and changed the Reset Config Data to reassign IRQs with no help. Then I tried changing the Init. Display 1st with no help. I even enabled VGA Palette snoop with changes.

Any hints on getting SLI working?

Great...looks like DFI is continuing thir issues with SLI/Crossfire...It took them forever to get Crossfire and the 4870x2 to work on their X48/X38 boards and now this? I'm glad I went with Asus's x58 board instead this time around.

I don't have any problem with 9800+ SLI

Try Memory LowGap 2176 or 3078

Lol - it worked. I figured it wouldn't as my memory seems fine. but I put it on 2176 anyway and it works fine.

    Thank you so much.
